BioEden at Gamescom 2026
Hall 6, Focus booth, 27–30 August — a show-floor session, not a launch.
Broken Arms Games took BioEden to Gamescom for the first time in 2026. Focus Entertainment listed the game on the Hall 6 booth alongside Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Road Kings, with the show running 27 to 30 August 2026. The studio’s own post said release was coming soon and invited people to try the game on the show floor. That is a hands-on beat, not a store unlock. The full campaign is still scheduled for 3 September 2026 on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.
If you were not in Cologne, the playable Steam tutorial is the same loop the booth was selling: salvage debris, wire a tiny solar and water spine, hatch a species, watch the globe. Demo saves still do not transfer. The demo guide and demo news pages cover that rehearsal. This page exists so a Gamescom caption does not get mixed up with launch morning.
What Focus actually put on the floor
Focus’s Gamescom post named Hall 6 and the dates 27 to 30 August 2026. BioEden sat on that list with other Focus titles. Broken Arms Games quoted the post and added that it was the first time one of their games would be on the show floor at a Focus booth. Treat those sentences as the confirmed facts. This wiki will not invent a secret build, a booth-only guild, or a Gamescom skin.
A show-floor session is useful for one thing: watching how Keepers bounce between the hex planet and the dome. That bounce is documented on outside and inside. If someone came home from Hall 6 talking about Collective Request cards labeled Mystic Guild, Exploration Guild, or Technology Guild, those cards are jobs, not the five launch affiliations. Send them to Collective Requests and the guild picker.
Hardware on the floor does not change system requirements. The Steam PC spec still asks for an SSD. Consoles still share the 3 September 2026 morning. DualSense and full controller support remain product facts, not booth rumors.
How to read “release is coming soon”
Broken Arms Games wrote that release was coming very soon. The calendar still says 3 September 2026. Official FAQ and storefront copy have not moved that date. Pre-orders remain on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox; the Switch 2 eShop listing is tied to launch. Prices remain $21.99 / £17.99 / €21.99, with Steam still showing a 9% pre-order window that ends on that morning. Details live on pre-order notes and Launch Day.
Do not read a Gamescom queue as proof the campaign is already in living rooms. The language on this wiki stays the same as it was in June: playable Steam demo, scheduled full release on 3 September 2026. If a social clip from Hall 6 looks more polished than your tutorial save, that is a booth machine, not a patch you missed.
Studio facts that did not change at Gamescom: eleven people at Broken Arms Games in Italy, previous work on Hundred Days and Under Par Golf Architect, no generative AI in the art, single-player, no fail states, recycle returns materials, 15–20 hour campaign, Charles as the tutorial robot, five guilds for the full game.
What to do after the show
If you played on the floor and want to keep the muscle memory, download the Steam tutorial and run one planet without overbuilding. Getting Started is the sequence. Recycle extras. Hatch one species. Stop. Then pick a guild habit for launch morning.
If you did not attend, you did not miss a required unlock. There is no Gamescom code on this unofficial wiki because Focus has not published one. Wishlist and pre-order on the storefronts listed under Links. Come back here if a later post names a different hall, a different date, or an actual patch. Until then, Gamescom 2026 is a booth timestamp on the way to 3 September.
After 30 August 2026 the useful question is no longer “where is the booth.” It is whether your PC meets the SSD line, whether you will skip the tutorial, and whether Euler or Darwin matches how you played. Those answers are not on a show-floor banner. They are on system requirements, the launch checklist, and the guild picker.
