BioEden Tools Hub

Two practical helpers: will it run, and which guild fits your habits.

Keeper Tools Hub

This hub holds the two BioEden helpers that are not walkthroughs. System requirements is a PC checklist against the published minimum and recommended rows, plus an SSD warning and a Steam Deck unknown. The guild picker is a decision tool for launch morning: Euler if you overbuild, Orin if you roam the map, Darwin if animals are the point, Xylar if you live on recycle, Umbra if you want a slow lore walk.

Guides teach the loop. Updates teach the calendar. This folder answers two shopping questions: can this machine run the 3 September 2026 build, and which Collective path should you click before Charles talks. If you still need the first-hour order, leave and open Getting Started. If you need the 6 June 2026 demo drop, open Demo News. If you need storefront URLs, open Links.

System-requirements checklist

Broken Arms Games published a small install with a strict storage note. Minimum is Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, Ryzen 3 1200 or Core i5-4690K, 8 GB of RAM, 4 GB of VRAM on an RX 460 or GTX 960, 3 GB on an SSD, targeting 30 FPS at 1080p Low. Recommended is Ryzen 5 1600X or Core i7-7700K, 16 GB of RAM, 6 GB of VRAM on an RX 580 or GTX 1080, still 3 GB on an SSD, targeting 60 FPS at 1080p Ultra. Both rows say SSD required.

The system requirements page copies those rows, then talks through the decisions the table does not: HDD versus SSD, why 3 GB is not permission to install on a spinner, how to read Low versus Ultra, and what “Unknown” on Steam Deck actually means. It will not invent a handheld preset, a ray-tracing toggle, or a DLSS mode Focus has not listed. Full controller support and DualSense sit there because they change whether you buy a pad before 3 September 2026.

Use that page before you pre-order if your PC is older than the recommended column. Use it after a hitch in the playable demo if the camera stutters when you pan across a dome. The demo is a fair feel for the art style; it is not a benchmark suite. If the tutorial already dips under 30 FPS at 1080p, do not assume Ultra is waiting for you on launch morning.

Guild picker in one sitting

The demo uses a training path. The full game asks you to pick among five guilds in the Cosmic Collective: Euler, Orin, Darwin, Xylar, and Umbra (published in some copy as Mystic Umbra). Press coverage that sat with the studio describes those paths as archetypes, not ranked weapons. Euler leans on balance and building efficiency. Orin leans on mapping and native resources. Darwin leans on close work with flora and fauna. Xylar leans on turning dead matter into new life and is framed as the expert recycle path. Umbra is the slow, meditative lore walk.

The guild picker turns that paragraph into a habit test. If your demo planet filled with extra pylons, pick Euler so the full campaign forgives sprawl a little. If you spent the tutorial chasing fog and radar, pick Orin. If the Bestiary was the only panel you cared about, pick Darwin. If you already hammered recycle every time pollution ticked, pick Xylar. If you want to dawdle in Charles’s world for the full 15–20 hours, pick Umbra. The guild tier list is the comparison grid when you want all five on one page.

This wiki will not invent numeric discounts, unique buildings, or a respec rule Focus has not published. The picker is a filter, not a leaked skill tree. If you finish the tutorial and still have no opinion, Darwin or Euler is the honest default for most Keepers; roamers can wait for Orin; completionists who enjoyed tearing their own city down can wait for Xylar.

How these tools sit next to the guides

A tool is a checklist. A guide is a sequence. After you confirm the SSD and pick a guild, you still need power and water, animal care, and restore the planet. Those pages do not change because you chose Umbra. The planet still has no fail states. Recycle still returns materials. Collective Requests are still a to-do list.

Use the tools once, then leave them in the bookmark bar. Reread system requirements if a friend asks whether a 2016 GPU will hold 30 FPS. Reread the guild picker the night before 3 September 2026 so you do not click a color in the download queue. For the product date, price, and skip-tutorial reminder, stay on Launch Day. For official Discord, FAQ, and support, stay on Links.

BioEden is scheduled for 3 September 2026 on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. The Steam demo is playable as the tutorial. These two tools exist so launch morning is a hardware check and a guild click, not a panic.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Which BioEden tool should I open first?

Open system requirements if you are on PC. Open the guild picker if the demo’s training path left you without a launch-day guild.

Can I pick Euler, Orin, Darwin, Xylar, or Umbra in the demo?

The playable demo uses a training path. The five guilds are a full-game choice. The guild picker maps a habit to each one.

Does this hub replace the guides?

No. After the checklist, go back to Getting Started or restore the planet. Tools answer shopping questions, not the first-hour loop.

Where are the official store pages?

Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Discord, and Focus support sit on the Links Hub. Specs on this wiki copy the published Steam rows.
