Keeper Guides Hub

BioEden is a cozy solarpunk management game, but the first hour still asks a lot of questions at once. You land on a wounded planet, Charles talks you through debris, and the HUD starts stacking solar demand, water demand, pollution, Collective Requests, and animal needs. This hub is the map of those questions. Each guide below answers one search intent with the same facts Focus Entertainment and Broken Arms Games have published, plus what the Steam demo actually puts on screen.

If you are new, start with Getting Started. That page is the first-hour walkthrough: recycle wreckage, place a tiny power and water spine, raise one species, then stop building. The demo guide covers what the tutorial includes, why saves do not transfer into the 3 September 2026 release, and how not to treat the demo like a city builder with infinite sprawl.

What this hub is for

Keepers usually bounce between two maps. Outside the dome you explore hexes, recover resources, purify water, and grow an ecological footprint. Inside a dome you tune temperature, humidity, plants, food, and diet so extinct species can live and later reproduce. The biome guide names the biomes the Bestiary actually lists: Forest, Jungle, Prairie, Savannah, and Tundra, plus named sites such as Red Forest. The animal care page explains incubators, the Bestiary, DNA costs, and why a carnivore next to a herbivore can undo an afternoon of work.

The power and water guide is the other half of the loop. Buildings need electricity, many also need water, and every extra structure nudges pollution and Impact Level. The restore the planet walkthrough treats recycling as the core skill, not a cleanup button you hit at the end. Official FAQ copy is clear: there are no fail states, you can take as long as you need, and the recycle control returns materials.

How the pages connect

Use controls when the camera, recycle button, and HUD icons are the blocker. The outside and inside guide splits the hex map from the dome. Collective Requests covers Trust Level jobs under Mystic, Exploration, and Technology tracks. Use the review when you want a plain-language verdict before pre-ordering: 15–20 hours, single-player, full controller support, $21.99, no generative AI in the art, human-made creatures. For launch timing and platform list, jump to Updates instead of hunting press posts.

Guild choice belongs with the guild tier list and the guild picker. The demo leans on a training path. The full game asks you to pick among Euler, Orin, Darwin, Xylar, and Umbra, each with a different tolerance for extra buildings. Species pages live under Species, including Charles and the DNA / Bestiary loop.

How to use these guides during the demo

Play the Steam demo as a rehearsal, not a save you will keep. Place one incubator, meet one animal’s temperature and humidity window, then look at the planet globe. If pollution is climbing while your Collective Request still wants more factories, recycle the spare buildings before you expand the hex ring. That single habit is the difference between a calm session and a planet that looks busy but reads as dying.

When the 3 September 2026 release lands on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2, come back to this hub for the same structure. The tutorial can be skipped in the full game, but the loop does not change: explore, recycle, connect, tend, then leave no extra footprint.

For PC specs, open system requirements. For official storefronts and Discord, use Links. This wiki is unofficial; confirm prices, ratings, and patch notes on the Focus and Steam pages linked there.
