BioEden Updates Hub
Dates, storefronts, and the news Focus has actually confirmed.
This hub is the news desk for BioEden, not a second copy of the Guides Hub. Come here for dates, storefronts, and what Focus Entertainment has confirmed since the Future Games Show. Gameplay loops, pollution, and animal care live on the guide pages. Hardware and guild choice live under Tools. Official URLs live under Links. If a blog post from June disagrees with a later storefront, treat the blog as a timestamp and read the two pages below.
The launch page is the 3 September 2026 briefing: four platforms on the same morning, the $21.99 / £17.99 / €21.99 price, the Steam 9% pre-order window, and a checklist for Keepers who already finished the tutorial. The demo news page is the 6 June 2026 drop: a playable Steam tutorial, no save transfer, and a reminder that the demo is not a city you will keep. Gamescom 2026 covers the Focus Hall 6 booth from 27 to 30 August. Pre-order notes split Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox storefronts from the Switch 2 eShop timing.
Timeline since the Future Games Show
On 6 June 2026, Broken Arms Games and Focus Entertainment unveiled BioEden at the Future Games Show. The same window put a free Steam demo on the store. Early FAQ copy said the full game would land on Steam on 3 September 2026, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 coming later. That console line did not hold. The current plan is day-and-date across Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 on 3 September 2026.
That correction is the reason this hub exists as two child pages instead of one. June articles still circulate with “consoles later.” Wishlist pages and later storefront copy list the four platforms together. If you are planning a living-room session, trust the launch page over a screenshot of the original FAQ. If you are deciding whether to keep playing the tutorial this week, trust the demo news page and the longer demo guide.
Nothing about that timeline is a patch note. BioEden is still scheduled for 3 September 2026. The Steam demo is playable as the tutorial. Focus states demo saves are not compatible with the full game, and that you can skip the tutorial after you buy. Studio facts that have not changed: eleven people at Broken Arms Games in Italy, previous work on Hundred Days and Under Par Golf Architect, no generative AI in the art, single-player only, no fail states, a recycle control that returns materials, and a 15–20 hour campaign.
What belongs on this hub
Use this folder for calendar facts. Use Getting Started when Charles is talking and the HUD is stacking solar demand, water demand, and a Collective Request at once. Use restore the planet when the globe looks angry because you overbuilt. Use the guild picker when the demo’s training path ends and you need Euler, Orin, Darwin, Xylar, or Umbra for launch morning. Use system requirements when the hitch is a hard drive, not a camera control.
Keepers mix those questions because the demo dropped on the same day as the trailer. This hub tries to split them. Trailer and storefront: stay here. First incubator and first watering hole: leave for animal care. Radar range and hex fog: leave for biomes. DualSense, Steam Cloud, achievements, and Family Sharing sit on the launch page because they describe the product you are about to buy, not a mechanic Charles teaches in the first twenty minutes.
Until 3 September 2026, the useful “updates” are still calendar items. The demo remains playable at least until launch. Steam still lists a 9% pre-order discount until that morning. The platform list is four, not one plus a later wave. After launch, this same folder is where patch notes, balance changes, and any extra species or biome news will go — when Broken Arms Games actually ships them. We will not invent a live-service calendar or a weekly event table.
How to read a BioEden news post
Start with the date. A 6 June 2026 post is the reveal plus the demo drop. A later storefront update is the same-day console confirmation. Ignore social captions that talk as if the full campaign is already on the disc; it is not. The language on this wiki is deliberate: playable demo, scheduled for 3 September 2026. If a third-party recap says the game is out, it is mixing the tutorial with the product.
Then check the storefront. Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox pages are linked from the Links Hub. Prices move. Ratings land late. This unofficial wiki will not pretend a FAQ sentence is a patch. When Focus publishes a real notes file after 3 September 2026, it will get its own page here with a date in the title, the same way Launch Day and Demo News already split the two confirmed beats.
If you only needed one paragraph: BioEden is a cozy solarpunk management game from Broken Arms Games and Focus Entertainment, the Steam tutorial is playable, demo planets do not carry over, and the full game is scheduled for 3 September 2026 on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. Everything else on this hub is that paragraph with a timestamp.
